Ox-eye Chardonnay 2005Ox-eye Chardonnay 2005 — $20
An unrestrained wine of exceptional dimensions from one of Virginia’s best chardonnay growers.

A nose of ripe pears, minerals, spice, honey, and a dash of hazelnut. The flavor is dominated by lovely toasted oak and a cascade of bright fruit flavors. A rich and full texture that maintains its grace through a long finish.

This wine exhibits soft aromas of lemon and lightly toasted oak. Nice mineral notes and tangy acidity. Finishing with a well rounded creamy texture.

  • 100% barrel fermented in french oak
  • Aged for 10 months in 50% new 50% neutral oak
  • Alcohol: 13.2%

    Packed with ripe fruit and lively acidity. Powerful yet balanced with honey, peach and tropical flavors.

  • 50% tank fermented 50% neutral oak barrels

    This gem of a red is rich and complex in both color and flavor. Layers of black berry and cherry combined with well integrated tannins.

    A wonderful hand crafted Cabernet Franc. Full bodied and fruit driven with hints of black pepper, plum, and currant.

    Meritage 2005Meritage 2005 — $14
    A harmonious blend with beautiful plum & cherry aromas laced with loads of crushed berry flavors. Supple tannins mixed with a touch of spicy oak and a full and juicy finish.

  • Ready to drink now but will improve in two or three years.
  • Aged 16 months in French oak barrels
  • Fermented in small lots and punched down by hand

    Rich and intense with gobs of concentrated currants. A touch of fresh earth and blackberry flavors. This tremendoulsy complex wine has big & round delicious firm tannins with an explosive finish.

    A mouth watering wine with a lovely nose of raspberry, red cherry, cranberry & hints of black pepper. Well integrated tannins with a smooth finish.

  • 80% Cabernet Franc 20% Merlot
  • Aged in french oak barrels for 14 months
  • Alcohol: 12.5%
  • Ready to drink now

    10% discount on a case of 12 bottles.

    Due to limited quanities, wine will sell out as a result of this there is a 3 bottle per customer limit on Viognier 2005, Ox-Eye Chardonnay 2005, and Blenheim Farm Chardonnay 2005.

    Direct shipping is available only in the following states: California, Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, New Mexico, New York, Virginia, Washington, and Washington D.C.

    The state of Virginia and UPS requires adult signature of purchaser to be of legal drinking age 21 or older to sign at time of delivery.
